What causes nasolabial folds?

As you age, your skin loses collagen and elastin, leading to sagging and wrinkles. Genetics play
a role, with some people predisposed to deeper folds. Repeated facial movements, sun
exposure, smoking, dehydration, and loss of facial fat can also contribute to the formation of
nasolabial folds.
